alpha-Lipoic acid (ALA) is an organic compound present in cells throughout the body. It acts as a coenzyme within the mitochondria of cells for energy production; however, its action as a powerful antioxidant throughout the body elevates the status of this critical compound for the maintenance of general health. Its universal action is due to the fact it’s both water‑ and fat-soluble, unlike vitamins C and E, which are uniquely active in the water‑ or fat-based regions of cells, respectively. ALA also serves a pivotal role within the body’s antioxidant network, as it regenerates and extends the lifespan of other antioxidants including glutathione, coenzyme Q10, and vitamins C and E.
INGREDIENTS: Each vegetable capsule contains
- ᴅʟ‑alpha-Lipoic acid 250 mg
Other ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose and vegetable magnesium stearate in a non‑GMO vegetable capsule composed of vegetable carbohydrate gum and purified water.
Utilisation suggérée
Adults: As a dietary supplement, take 1–2 capsules daily with food or as directed by your health-care practitioner.

Contains no: Gluten, soy, wheat, corn, eggs, dairy, yeast, citrus, preservatives, artificial flavour or colour, starch, or sugar.
Cautions and warnings: Consult a health-care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breast-feeding, or if you have diabetes. Discontinue use and consult a health-care practitioner in case of sweating, paleness, chills, headache, dizziness, or confusion, as these may be symptoms of serious low blood sugar.
